A premium long-term care facility was looking for a large order of standard room casegoods that were unique but still consistent with their building design. WoodgeniX took the time to fully understand the client’s vision and create high-quality pieces that were within budget but did not sacrifice style.

The Client

Greystone Healthcare Center - Logo

Greystone Healthcare Center is a leading provider of long-term skilled nursing care, assisted living, and home health community support. Their network of facilities is owned by Greystone Healthcare Management Corp, which is headquartered in Florida with several facilities across the country. Greystone has decades of experience in the skilled nursing industry, and the group has built and acquired several premium facilities in recent years that are dedicated to providing high-quality care.

The Project

Greystone was looking for standardized room casegoods that were uniquely designed but still consistent with the overall design of a building they were opening in Florida. The client shared residential furniture inspiration that they liked and wanted to know if WoodgeniX had the capacity to recreate it within a certain timeframe.

From these parameters, WoodgeniX was able to create a series of drawings, renderings, and revisions to create casegoods that satisfied all of the required needs.

WoodgeniX took the time to fully understand the client’s vision and create high-quality pieces that were within budget but did not sacrifice style.

The Challenge

One challenge of this project was ensuring the furniture designed and manufactured fit in seamlessly with the existing design of the building, while still remaining within budget.

The client desired specific colors and materials for the furniture which required close collaboration with their interior designer to source the materials or find equivalent alternatives. WoodgeniX helped provide both construction and cosmetic suggestions to keep the project in line with the client’s aesthetic and budget.

Once all of the furniture pieces were completed, delivery and installation needed to be done in phases, due to the volume of products and storage needs. WoodgeniX created a detailed delivery and installation plan to meet the client’s goals.

The Results

A major milestone for this project was collaborating with an interior designer to create products that the client was fully satisfied with. Even with sizable adjustments to the product and its construction, the end result was achieved without sacrificing style. WoodgeiX has since completed two additional Greystone projects because of the high-quality work from this initial collaboration.
